Position: Regional Sales Manager

Location: US Location Negotiable

The Regional Sales Manager will drive new sales revenue by prospecting, identifying, and developing new corporate accounts. This is a high energy position requiring an individual to be extremely motivated and results-driven with a hunter mentality; it will also require someone who is equally comfortable working in a strategic and tactical capacity. As a member of the Meraki sales team, you will be a self-starter and possess a strong entrepreneurial spirit, self-motivation, and intense enthusiasm. A proven track record of sales success in the technology space, exemplary sales skills, and vision and patience, are all critical factors to success in this role.

Responsibilities

  • This is an individual contributor role responsible for delivering on sales quotas and growing the assigned region through aggressive prospecting, identifying, negotiating and closing of new accounts.
  • Manage and sustain a sales pipeline via a complete understanding of the wireless networking space to determine fit and enable predictable success at an account level. Build and maintain relationships with key influencers in the industry.
  • Work within a team environment in conjunction with Meraki Inside Sales Representatives, Sales Engineers, Marketing, and Channel Partners to maximize sales efforts and success rate.
Requirements
  • Strong sales background. A proven closer who can deliver sales results on plan. Experience with direct touch indirect sales through channel a plus.
  • 5-10 years technology vendor experience with at least 3 years demonstrated success in a field sales capacity.
  • Great relationship skills and proven decision making ability: critical thinking, tenacity, resilience, inter-personal/presentation, and executive level selling skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage time.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Travel requirement: approximately 75%.

Position: Channel Sales Manager

Location: San Francisco, CA or US Location Negotiable

Reporting to the Director, Distribution & Channel Alliances, the Manager, Channel Sales will provide strong leadership and help drive new sales revenue by building and implementing a comprehensive network of partnerships in the channel space. You will be responsible for recruiting, negotiating agreements, enabling and managing Meraki’s key strategic channel partnerships. You will design programs that will assist in driving top line revenue, increase market share, attract new channel partners, and retain/grow existing partners through the creation of a sustainable, differentiated channel strategy. This is a high energy position requiring an individual to be extremely motivated and results-driven; it will also require someone who is equally comfortable working in a strategic and tactical capacity. As a member of the Meraki sales team, you will be a self-starter and possess a strong entrepreneurial spirit, self-motivation, and intense enthusiasm. A proven track record of success with the leading players in the channel space, exemplary sales skills, and vision and patience, are all critical factors to successfully supporting the exponential growth of the company anticipated over the coming years.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, identify, recruit, negotiate, enable and manage new channel partners. This requires a complete understanding of the wireless networking channel space to determine fit and enable predictable success at an account level.
  • Recruit new channel partners: This means owning the selection profiling process as well as the on-boarding processes such as contract negotiation and administration.
  • Enable channel partners: Create and drive enablement activities based on automated and repeatable processes. Responsible for all development and enablement activities within the channel partner (sales, order placement, renewals, and services).
  • Manage channel partners: Work with existing partners to develop the business to be a highly profitable and strategic part of their overall business. Responsible for ensuring a strong relationship exists with partner senior management. Work closely with the channel marketing team to drive successful programs through channel partners.
  • Achieve key business goals and revenue quotas: manage partner contract and quota negotiations. Ensure minimum certification and performance levels are met.
  • Create, implement and maintain a business plan with the channel partners that will establish and maintain high awareness of Meraki’s value propositions across the channel partner organization including executive relationships.
Requirements
  • Strong channel background and experience in building and leveraging channel partners. Can influence and drive a channel-focused business.
  • 6-10+ years technology vendor experience (preferably in hardware and in networking, wireless, technology or like industry) selling into the channel space.
  • Track record of building and executing strategies to build best in class channel partner programs based on quantitative and qualitative market opportunity assessment.
  • Ability to build relationships and influence cross functionally; experience negotiating licensing contracts, coordinating and leading executive level sales meetings and implementing quarterly business plans.
  • Great relationship skills, tenacity, resilience and inter-personal/presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and set priorities.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent preferred, MBA a plus.

Position: Inside Sales Representative

Location: San Francisco, CA

Sales Representatives at Meraki are upbeat, focused and well-organized individuals, and will join our Small and Mid-sized Enterprise sales team, focused on 100 to 1000 person organizations. You must be comfortable making dozens of calls a day, working with channel partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects, building solutions and closing sales of $10K to $50K. You must also have demonstrated experience prospecting and growing an account list, as well as closing sales.

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for the entire sales process from prospecting to close.
  • Team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals.
  • Understand customer needs and requirements.
  • Effectively demonstrate software product through use of WebEx/Adobe Connect
  • Close sales and achieve quarterly sales quotas.
Requirements
  • 2 or more years of selling experience in hardware/software sales.
  • Proven track record in inside sales.
  • Experience in closing deals in the $10-$50K range.
  • Ability to manage entire sales process from prospecting through close.
  • Ability to manage in fast paced, and high growth environment.
  • Excellent communications capabilities, BA/BS degree preferred

Position: Front-End Engineer

Position: Back-End Systems Engineer

Location: San Francisco, CA

Meraki's multi-site, hosted backend system provides authentication, RF planning, monitoring and diagnostic services for thousands of wireless networks and millions of client devices worldwide. We are looking for motivated, intellectually curious developers to help us scale our systems.

As a key member of our backend engineering team, you will be helping design and deploy a distributed, highly reliable system with some of the brightest people in networking and systems. Improving and scaling our backend requires strong engineering and exceptional analytical ability.

Position: Firmware Engineer

This position is for talented hackers who love working on networking protocols and device drivers. You think networking products should be easy enough for anyone to use and you love building things. Your work will be widely deployed and used by millions of people, and you will be able to collect an incredible amount of data about how your code is performing.

  • Profile and reduce end-to-end firmware boot time
  • Debug wireless noise floor calculations by analyzing register readings from thousands of devices around the world

Position: Technical Support Engineer

Location: San Francisco, CA

Meraki seeks a sharp, energetic technical support engineer to help support our large, diverse customer and partner base. You will work closely with many groups within the company, including sales, engineering, and product management to enable Meraki to continue its rapid growth.

Responsibilities

  • Research and resolve issues reported by Meraki customers and partners.
  • Identify issues suitable for entry in the Meraki Knowledge Base. Write, review, and release KB articles.
  • Work with engineering to diagnose and resolve critical escalated issues.
  • Identify, reproduce, and document bugs.
Requirements
  • Basic understanding of networking fundamentals, e.g., be able to explain the functions of and differences among the link, network, transport, and application layers.
  • Outstanding account management, follow-through and problem solving skills, resourcefulness, attention to detail, and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Excellent speaking and writing skills.
  • B.S. in computer science or a related technical discipline.
Characteristics of success
  • 2 years experience with networking products.
  • Experience supporting or testing LANs, VLANs, VPNs, NAT devices, or DHCP servers.
  • Experience installing and trouble-shooting Wi-Fi networks (802.11a/b/g/n).
