High Profile Urban EventViu, formerly Epicentric, is a wireless networking and interactive media company based in Caracas, Venezuela. Viu partnered with the Organizing Committee of FiTCaR, Venezuela's Annual International Tourism Fair, with the goal of bringing free wireless Internet to all FiTCaR 2006 attendees.

University Network DeploymentBlava.net is a non-profit networking and technology organization based in Bratislava, Slovakia. They partnered with Druzba dormitory at Comenius University with the goal of providing free wireless Internet access to university students. To achieve this goal the Blava.net team needed a scalable network solution that would support a high user load with relatively little infrastructure and administrative oversight.
NetEquality
High Density and Urban AreasNetEquality is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing basic wireless Internet access to low-income housing developments in Portland, Oregon. NetEquality partnered with Hacienda Community Development Corporation with the goal to provide free high-speed Internet access to over 1,200 people in a 440-unit low-income apartment development.
